Major duties and Responsible areas :-

-      Can use vibration diagnostic equipment to monitor, record, analyze and interpret vibration trends and effects with the aim of predicting and locating impending machinery problems before equipment failure occurs and recommendations or conclusions report will be approved by supervisor

-      Perform preventive and predictive maintenance by using vibration surveys, including baseline vibration recording for booster compressors, generators, turbo machinery and production-associated rotating machinery in all production fields

-      Assist supervisor to perform dynamic and field balancing for booster compressors and rotating parts of various machinery and velocity transducer calibration and testing

-      Perform Infrared Thermograph Camera Inspection on all electrical cubical units with connector junctions, MCC units, bus bar of Generators in Switchgear room and other application units which go live electricity or generating heat by measuring temperature

-      Assist supervisor with the maintenance and monitoring of stocks of tools, equipment and spare parts and with the planning and implementation of new or modified vibration instrument installations

-      Actively pursue knowledge of and experience with new equipment and facilities and improved technology

-      Carry out and record all preventive maintenance checks and reports any abnormalities, taking immediate action when necessary

-      Engage in troubleshooting activities when necessary and takes actions, using his own initiative and following specific directions from his supervisor

-      Carry out all modification, additions and installations of new equipment or facilities are required.

-      Practice teamwork within his own work group and with other groups at his facility by assisting others in troubleshooting, PM activities and other projects to improve overall work efficiency and facility safety

-      Keep consistent and up-to-date records for all work activities, including PM procedures and equipment histories

-      Set a personal example in safety, workmanship, punctuality, good housekeeping and positive work ethic for co-workers

-      Implement the company’s Health, Environmental Protection and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring that his co-workers strictly observe and comply with all company safety regulations

-      Contribute to continuous improvement in all areas of craft-related knowledge and skills, application of the highest standard of operational safety and utilization of the most efficient work procedures by sharing ideas to improve overall operational efficiency and safety system offshore, including the raising of PRNCA’s and other safety control forms

-      Maintain all section tools and equipment according to company and manufacturer guidelines

-      Carry out tasks as may be assigned by his supervisor relevant to his area of training and job experience and related to the company’s operation

-      Comply with all safety rules, regulations and procedures in the daily performance of all vibration tasks assigned

-      Liaise with other departments on common project assignments

Qualifications:-

-      Technical Diploma in instrumentation /process control, electricity, electronics or precision mechanics, or Bachelor degree of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred)

-      1-2 years experience in general electrical/mechanical or equivalence

-      Good command of spoken and written English (TOEIC 300 up)

-      Able to understand technical manuals, policies and procedures written in English

-      Skill in computer user with MS Office/Windows OS and any application software
